AIIMS, Gorakhpur will follow the mandate of all other AIIMS to become a leader in Health services and be a Centre of excellence in Medical Education Technology (MET) in the country.

The following post is to be filled up on purely contractual basis for Bharat Health Initiative for Sahyog, Hita and Maitri (BHISHM) Cube. :

Qualification: -
Essential :
• B.Pharmacy from a recognized university
• Registered with Pharmacy council with 2 years of experience post qualification OR
• 10+2 with Science stream (PCB) from a recognized Institute
• Approved diploma in pharmacy from an Institute recognized by Pharmacy Council of India.
• Registered with Pharmacy council.
• 3 Yrs experience post essential qualification as Pharmacist.
Desirable :
• Working knowledge of computer applications.

Age Limit : 32 years as on last date of application form

Pay (in Indian Rupees) : Rs. 40,000/-Per Month

Job responsibilities
• Dispense medications as per treatment protocols.
• Maintain accurate and updated drug inventory within the BHISHM Cube.
• Ensure proper record-keeping of all pharmacy-related activities, including dispensing and stock movement.
• Assist in the procurement, replenishment, and management of essential drugs and medical supplies.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, institutional policies, and quality standards.
• Assist in performing laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures as per medical requirements.
• Collect, label, and prepare biological samples for testing or analysis.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and disposal of specimens, reagents, and medical supplies.
• Maintain accurate and updated records of laboratory tests, diagnostic procedures, and equipment maintenance
• Assist with data entry, documentation, and basic analysis related to patient care and diagnostics.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support effective functioning of the BHISHM Cube.
• Provide support in the maintenance, deployment, operation, and demobilization of BHISHM Cubes, in alignment with institute- specific SOPs
• Any other activities assigned by the competent authority

SELECTION PROCESS
1. Online application form will be available at the Institute’s website aiimsjammu.edu.in under open jobs. Document verification shall also be carried out on the date of interview.
2. The applicant will be responsible for the authenticity of the information, other documents, and photographs submitted. If the candidate wants to apply for more than one post, a separate online application must be submitted for each post.
3. Mere possession of prescribed qualifications doesn’t entitle a candidate for selection.
4. AIIMS Jammu reserves the right to cancel/modify the recruitment process at any time, at its discretion. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. Interviews will be conducted in person at AIIMS, Vijaypur, Jammu.

Job Description : The position is purely temporary. Dispense medicine as per treatment protocols. Maintain accurate and update drug inventory ensure proper record keeping.in BHISHM Cube. Any other duty assigned by the Nodal officer from time to time.

Selection Process
Mode of selection : Interview (Tentative Date - Last week of February 2026)
(However, a written test will be conducted before the interview if the number of eligible candidates exceeds 30 for a particular post, as per the SOP)
The above post is to be filled purely on contract basis. The post is co-terminus with the project or one year whichever is earlier, unless extended. "The extension may be considered for 6 months at a time, a maximum for two times after a review of the work done in the project if the project in existence. General Instructions
1. It is the candidates' responsibility to ascertain and ensure their eligibility as per the prescribed qualification and experience. If any declaration given or information furnished by him/her proves false or if he/she is found to have willfully suppressed any material or information, he/she will be liable for removal from service and also such other action as the Government may deem necessary. Even after qualifying in the selection process, the candidate may be rendered disqualified at the time of document verification if he/she does not fulfill essential eligibility criteria.
2. Tenure: The assignments are purely on a contract basis and co-terminus with project or one year whichever is earlier, unless extended. These appointments shall not vest any right to claim by the candidate for regular appointment or permanent absorption in AIIMS Gorakhpur or continued contractual appointment. The extension may be considered after a review of the work done on the project.
3. Expiry of Contract: The contract will automatically expire on completion of the sunset period or earlier in case of withdrawal of support by funding agency. The contractual engagement can be terminated at any time by either side by giving 30 days' notice or salary in lieu thereof. The engagement may be terminated forthwith without any salary in case repeatedly disorderly conduct.
4. Leave: The contractual appointee for the project shall be entitled for maximum 12 leaves in a year. No leave shall be carried forward and no payment shall be made for unused leave. The appointee will be eligible for leave on prorate basis. Not more than 2 days leave can be taken in one go.
5. Accommodation: No hostel or any other accommodation shall be provided by the institute.
6. Canvassing of any kind will lead to disqualification.
7. The prescribed qualification is minimum and mere possessing the same does not entitle any candidate for selection.
8. The appointment is full time and private practice of any type is prohibited.
9. He/She is expected to conform to the rules of conduct and discipline as applicable to the institute employees.
10. The decision of the competent authority regarding the selection of the candidate shall be final and no representation will be entertained in this regard.
11. The competent Authority reserves the right of any amendments, cancellation and changes to this advertisement as a whole or in part without assigning any reason or giving notice.
12. Interview will be held at AIIMS Gorakhpur. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the same.
