The Shivgarh Foundation (affiliated to The INCLEN Trust International, an international non-profit organization), consists of a team of zealous and dedicated public health scientists and professionals, and is globally recognized for its pioneering work on newborn survival through a community empowerment-based approach. Shivgarh has emerged as a model for community-driven research, grounds-up innovation and demonstration for behavior change management for maternal, newborn and child health. Our work covers a population of 15,00,000 over a geographic area of 2,000 sq. km.
Post: Community Research Investigator (Data Quality Assurance)
Job Description:
Work will involve 100% field based responsibilities. We need open minded, dynamic people with positive ‘can do’ attitude, passion to work with rural communities. She/he should be committed to honest research, with a mindset to seek out the ‘truth’. Will be responsible for day to day operational issues according to protocol e.g. quality control, planning etc. Ensure almost 100% accurate data collection. The candidate must be well versed in multi-tasking and a team player. A strong drive for excellence and teamwork. Should own a bike and be able to drive it.
Candidate profile:
• A graduate or post graduate degree in social sciences, health sciences, statistics, research management, or any related field
• 1-3 years experience in field research and data collection (Fresh graduates welcome to apply)
• Experience with managing small teams
• Familiarity with/ having worked in community health is preferred
• Excellent communication skill both, verbal and written in Hindi
• Basic knowledge of computers
