University of Pune, one of the premier universities in India, is positioned in the North-western part of Pune city. It occupies an area of about 411 acres. It was established on 10th February, 1948 under the Poona University Act. The university houses 46 academic departments. It is popularly known as the 'Oxford of the East'. There is a well-stocked library containing plenty of books regarding various subjects. The university offers different scholarships to the students. The university conducts seminars and conferences for the students.

Position : Junior Research Fellow (one)

Applications are invited for temporary assignment of Junior Research Fellow for 36 months on BRNS sponsored project "Nanoaggregates of metallosurfactants derived from 4, 4'-dialkylated-2, 2-bipyridine ligands"

Project Investigators: Dr. Sunita Salunke-Gawali, Dr. V. G. Puranik (NCL, Pune).

Minimum Qualifications: MSc in Inorganic/Analytical Chemistry with at least 55% aggregate marks with experience in Inorganic synthesis.

Age limit: 28 years.

Fellowship: Rs. 16,000/- per month (fixed for first two years). Rs. 18,000/- per month (fixed for third year).

Duration: 36 months.

The project investigators have the discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications and experience.
