NIA is an apex Institute under the Department of AYUSH for promoting the growth and development of Ayurveda as a model Institute for evolving high standards of teaching, training, research and patient care and also to invoke scientific outlook to the knowledge of Ayurvedic System of Medicine. The Institute, an Autonomous Body under Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India, is registered under the Rajasthan Societies Registration Act, 1958.

Applications are invited in the prescribed Format for 1 Post of Pharmacist(Ayurved).

Essential Qualifications, Experience etc.:
1. Pass in 12th Standard from a Central/State Board of Education.
2. Diploma in AYUSH Nursing & Pharmacy of not less than 3 years duration including Internship from a recognized University.
OR
B. Pharma (Ayurveda) from a recognized University.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
1. The candidate must be a citizen of India.
2. The Qualification prescribed for each Post will only be considered. Equivalent qualification will not be considered.
3. Relaxation in Maximum Age Limit: SC(5 Years), ST(5 Years), 0BC(3 Years), PH(10 Years). The Upper Age Limit prescribed shall not be applicable to the regular employees of the Institute.
4. The Pay Scales carry usual Allowances admissible as per Central Government Rules and applicable to the Institute.
5. The New Pension Scheme of the Government of India is applicable in the Institute.
6. The Cast Certificate should be in the manner and Form prescribed by the Government of India.
7. Candidates already in Govt. Service must send their Application Through Proper Channel. However an Advance Copy may be sent which must reach by t e Closing Date.
8. No Personal Interview will be conducted for Selection to the above Posts. ... . n
9. An Objective-Type Written Test will be conducted for all the above Posts for drawing Merit for Selection. The Test shall be of 100 Multiple Choice Questions carrying 100 Marks and of lVz hours duration. 1 Mark will be awarded for each Correct Answer while Vi Mark will be deducted for each Wrong Answe .
10. The Syllabus for the Written Test will be posted on the Institute Website shortly. Candidates may watch for the same .

11. Selection to the Posts of Pharmacist(Ayurveda), Staff Nurse(Ayurveda) and MTS will be based on the Merit of the Written (Screening) Test.
12. For the Posts of LDC, 5 Candidates for each Post will be shortlisted from the Merit of the Written (Screening) Test. Such shortlisted Candidates will be called for a Typing Test on Computers and the Final Merit will be drawn on the basis of the Marks obtained m the Written(Screening) Test as well as Typing Test. The Date, Venue etc. for the Typing Test will be intimated to such Shortlisted Candidates separately.
13. An Application Fee of Rs. 2000 (Rs. 1600 for SC and ST Candidates) for the Posts of Pharmacist, Staff Nurse and LDC and Rs. 1800 (Rs. 1400 for SC and ST Candidates) for the Post of MTS by DD in favour of "Director, National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur" should be enclosed with the Application for each Post.
14. Separate Application along with the prescribed Fees must be submitted in case a candidate is applying for more than one category of Post.
15. Director reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies, to withdraw the vacancy of any or all the Posts and to reject any or all applications without assigning any reason thereof, whatsoever.
16. Director reserves the right to make any amendment, cancellation or changes regarding this Vacancy Notification in whole or part thereof without assigning any reason thereof, whatsoever. Any corrigendum, amendment, order etc. regarding this Vacancy Notification will be displayed only in the Website of the Institute and will not be published in newspapers.

The Filled Application, affixed with a recent Passport Size Photograph pasted on the Upper Right Corner and duly, self-attested, along with the Application Fees and self-attested copies of all the relevant Certificates etc. should reach the Director, National Institute of Ayurveda, Jorawar Singh Gate, Amer Road, Jaipur 302002 by 5 P.M. on 31-10-2018. One same Passport Size Photograph should be attached at the relevant place in the Application Form for pasting on the Call Letter for Written Test. The Institute will not be responsible for any delay in receipt of any Application. Applications received after the Last Date or Applications incomplete in any respect will be summarily rejected without any intimation. Applications will not be accepted by E-Mail or Fax. No enquiry will be entertained over Phone, E-Mail or Fax. Canvassing in any manner will disqualify the candidate.
