Post : National Sales Detailing Manager (Pharma Channel)

Summary 
The  National  Detailing  Manager  leads  pan  India Medical  Detailing  team  and  is  responsible  for achieving/exceeding value and volume sales target by driving Rx from Doctors, Pharmacy recommendation & penetration in Medical Institutions for RB healthcare portfolio.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Financials
Ensure Primary/Secondary Sales and Targeted growth for assigned Healthcare brands.

Quantity of Coverage:
Ensure Doctor coverage as per plan.
Medical Institution coverage & penetration.

Quality of Coverage:
- Ensure Doctor Detailing basis BTR.
- Drive PB & P/D from covered Doctors.
- Minimize Stock Returns/ Expiry / Damages of Healthcare portfolio by reviewing distributor’s stock level & liquidation of near expiry products.
- Ensure product listing, price quotation & PO generation from covered Medical Institutions.
- Ensure effective Chemist Detailing.

 

Administration:
- Co-ordinate with Supply Team, TM & Marketing to ensure continued supply and availability of assigned Healthcare portfolio.
- Ensure timely daily & monthly reporting as per HO schedule, ensuring accuracy and integrity in reports.
- Track & Review Sales Data. Ensure timely feedback & Initiate corrective action.
- Ensure financial discipline in Monthly Planning (CME/Doctor engagement).
- Assist RLT on Detailing portfolio Sales Forecast.

Talent Management:
- Building and retaining a team of highly motivated RDM, ASE & Detailing Reps.
- Train & develop Detailing Team to enable them to deliver higher levels of performance through in field coaching interventions.
- Improve effectiveness & productivity by ensuring Company defined Processes & Norms are monitored & followed.

Candidate Profile
Science/Pharmacy Graduates with MBA.
8-10 Years of overall Pharma Detailing Experience at Regional/National level.
Strong Pharma/OTC Sales and Doctor detailing understanding
Strong scientific knowledge encompassing human anatomy, common disease profiles and basic medicinal treatments
Proficient with basic Software skills (computer basic applications, internet,emails)
Good knowledge of Pharma Channel & Hospital business.

Key Personal Attributes:
- Ability to work in teams to execute organizational strategies
- Willingness to travel extensively and work independently to accomplish key priorities and tasks
- Excellent Interpersonal & Communication Skill that can help build relationships with KOLs, internal stakeholders & Key Accounts
- Result Oriented.
- Good Analytical & Execution Ability.
- Good oral/written communication.
