Post: Executive - Production

Job Description:
Responsible for identifying and prioritizing production requirements and coordinating the flow of materials, parts and assemblies to meet production schedules.

Job Responsibilities:  

  • Supervise production operation and work to meet production goals.
  • Establish personnel schedules and product lines based on business needs.
  • Provide input to production flow and identifies potential manufacturing issues
  • Confer with department supervisors and reviews master production schedules, work orders, departmental production schedules and related information to determine material requirements.
  • Perform material availability analysis to determine material and supply requirements.
  • Coordinate plant inventory levels which include ordering the correct quantities, determining the appropriate lead times, tracking the available storage space, and identifying reasons that require inventory adjustments and correcting the cause.
  • Monitor assembly line schedule and releases jobs to floor on a timely basis to maintain efficient production.
  • Indicate number, type and proposed completion date of units to be produced.
  • Review progress reports concerning status and downtime due to failures of machines and equipment and appraises production planning personnel of production delays.
  • Comply and prioritize work orders for comparison to available finished units and fulfillment.
  • Update work order statuses and identifies shortages to management.
  • Establish effective communication with various groups such as Q.A., H.R., and plant production department to ensure the on time delivery of products and efficient resolution.
  • Analyze production data and prepares reports.

1. Observes & promotes all regulatory requirements as defined per applicable regulations, rules & procedures established by the Company, and notified any violation or deviation to the immediate supervisor or appropriate authority.
2. Complies with all training requirements to perform duties of the job.
3. Ensure adherence/compliance to Records Management policies and procedures, as applicable

Take disciplinary action if required on shop floor.

Candidate Profile:
Education :
Graduate or post graduate – Pharmaceuticals / Chemicals
F.D.A. approved C.T.S. (Competent Technical Staff) preferred
Experience:
Generally requires (6-10) year’s related experience.
Minimum of 8 years relevant experience in production Experience of working in a regulated industry like Pharmaceutical / Medical Devices is highly desirable
Working knowledge of laid down statutory and regulatory requirements
