Requires Staff Nurses/Pharmacist (8 Posts) in District De-Addiction and Rehabilitation Society, Pathankot

District De-Addiction and Rehabilitation Society, Pathankot invites application for the following posts on contractual basis for Drug De-Addiction Centres at Pathankot & Narot Jaimal Singh for an initial period of one year.

Post: Staff Nurses/Pharmacist

No.of posts: 08 (4 for Pathankot & 4 for Narot Jaimal Singh) (Gen-4, SC-2BC-1, E.S.M-1)

Eligibility Qualification
Staff Nurse: B.Sc. Nursing/GNM from any recognized Institution/University (minimum 50% marks) The Candidate must have valid registration certificate issued by Punjab Nursing Registration Council.
Pharmacist: Diploma in pharmacy (minimum 50% marks) from recognized institution. The Candidate must have valid registration certificate issued by Punjab Pharmacy Council.

Consolidated Salary: Rs. 15000/- per month

Age: 18-38 years as on 01.01.2014 (upper age limit is relaxed for reserved categories as per Pb. Govt. Norms)

Important Note: Keeping in view the nature of jobfirst preference will be given to male Nurses, and only in case of non-availability of male nurses, the posts will be filled equally among male pharmacists and female nurses.

Selection Criteria: Basic qualification: 40 marks (weightage) +5 marks for higherQualification in relevant stream (M.Sc Nursing/B. Pharmacy/M. Pharmacy) +5 marks for Interview.

1. Candidates must have passed the Punjabi of matriculate level.
2. The Candidates must possess the requisite qualification on or before the last date of submission of application Form i.e. 24.9.2014.
3. Objective Type test for the post of Counsellors will be held on 29.9.2014 at 11 a.m. The Venue of Exam will be informed to the eligible candidates.
4. Application form for the posts and Syllabus for Objective Type test of Counsellor can be obtained free of cost from the office of Civil Surgeon Pathankot on any working day (between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
5. The society reserves the right to increase/decrease the No. of posts as per its requirement at any stage without further intimation. It also reserves the right to call limited no. of candidates for an interview for Staff Nurses' Pharmacist/Ward Attendant on the basis of evaluation of applications as stated above.
6. No TA'DA shall be paid for the Objective Type test/interview.
7. Interested candidates may submit their application form along with self attested copies of requisite documents pertaining to their qualifications etc. with latest passport size photograph pasted on the application form in the office of Civil Surgeon Pathankot by 5.00 p.m. till 24.09.2014.
