Maharshi Dayanand University, ab initio established as Rohtak University, Rohtak, came into existence by an Act No. 25 of 1975 of the Haryana Legislative Assembly in 1976  with the objective to promote inter-disciplinary higher education and research in the fields of environmental, ecological and life sciences. It was rechristened as Maharshi Dayanand University in 1977 after the name of a great visionary and social reformer, Maharshi Dayanand. It had a unitary and residential character in its nascent stage, but became an affiliating University in November 1978. The University secured the recognition of University Grants Commission – the higher education regulatory body of India - for central Govt. grants in Feb. 1983.

Post: Project Fellow

Applications are invited for one post of Project Fellow in DST/SERB sponsored fast track young scientist research project entitled "Development of novel techniques for preservation of currency paper notes". The project fellow will be paid fellowship as per norms of DST-SERB. The applicant should have passed M.Pharm. with 55 % marks. Preference will be given to the candidate having experience in the relevant field. Interested candidates may send their biodata to the project coordinator through anuragpharmacy@gmail.com on or before 16-10-14. Interested candidate may report for interview along with their bio-data and testimonials on 17-10-14 at 11.00 A.M in office of Head, Departmental of Pharmaceutical Sciences, M.D.University, Rohtak. The post is purely temporary and is coterminous with the project.

No separate interview letter will be sent.
NOTE: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
