Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT), Hyderabad, a constituent of CSIR is a leading research Institute in the area of chemical sciences. The core strength of IICT lies in Organic Chemistry, and it continues to excel in this field for over six decades. The research efforts during these years have resulted in the development of several innovative processes for a variety of products necessary for human welfare such as drugs, agrochemicals, food, organic intermediates, adhesives etc. More than 150 technologies developed by IICT are now in commercial production.

CSIR – IICT is conducting Walk-in Interview for the following positions purely on a temporary basis for various projects.

Junior Research Fellow – Project
Essential Qualifications : M.Sc Chemistry (CSIR/UGC-NET)
Desirable Qualifications & Experience : Two years research experience in R&D lab
Title of the Project & Budget Code : Laboratory Scale investigation on chemical treatment of subsurface lignite deposits to enhance the conversion of lignite to methane (GAP-0666)
Stipend : 25,000/- + HRA

Project Assistant - II
Essential Qualifications : M.Sc Chemistry with 55% marks
Desirable Qualifications & Experience : One year research experience
Title of the Project & Budget Code : C-H bond functionalization to access bioactive molecules (GAP-0548)
Stipend : 16,000/- (consolidated)

 

Project Assistant - II
Essential Qualifications : M.Sc with 55% marks
Desirable Qualifications & Experience : M.Sc in Biological sciences with cell culture experience preferable
Title of the Project & Budget Code : Regulatory pathways and role of Zinc Oxide (ZnO) Nanoparticles in Angiogenesis (GAP-0570)
Stipend : 25,000/- (consolidated)

Project Assistant - II
Essential Qualifications : M.Sc Chemistry with 55% marks
Desirable Qualifications & Experience : M.Sc chemistry with two years of analysis experience in lipids area
Title of the Project & Budget Code : Testing & Analysis (TSP-0017)
Stipend : 25,000/- (consolidated)

Project Assistant - II
Essential Qualifications : M.Sc Chemistry with 55% marks
Desirable Qualifications & Experience : One year experience
Title of the Project & Budget Code : Synthesis, Characterization & evaluation of structured lipids for potential bioactive applications (GAP-0664)
Stipend : 25,000/- (consolidated)

Project Assistant - II
Essential Qualifications : M.Sc with 55% marks
Desirable Qualifications & Experience : M.Sc chemistry with two years project related research experience
Title of the Project & Budget Code : Development of an emulsion polymer having core shell morphology for use in formulating interior water based paints (SSP-0706)
Stipend : 25,000/- (consolidated)

Age Limit :
Junior Research Fellow (JRF) - Project : 28 years
Project Assistant Level – II : 30 years

The selection will be on the basis of Interview. The engagement will be initially for a period of six months, which may be extended or curtailed depending on the duration of the tenure of the sponsored project / satisfactory performance or conduct of the appointee, as the case may be. The engagement will be purely on temporary basis for the sponsored projects and does not entitle him / her for the CSIR / IICT post / fellowship.

Eligible candidates may download the application form from our website iictindia.org and appear for Interview along with the duly filled in application form supported by Bio-data and one set of attested photocopies of Certificates of educational qualification, age, experience, caste (in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates), latest passport size photograph and the candidates are required to bring all the original certificates for verification.

Walk In Interview at 09:30 A.M. on Wednesday November 29, 2017 at CSIR-IICT, Hyderabad.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

*Upper age limit relaxable up to 5 years for SC / ST / OBC / PwD / Women.

Note : Candidates should register their names for walk-in-interviews between 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on November 29, 2017.
