Responsibilities:
· Lead the conduct and execution of clinical studies for Home & Personal Care (HPC)  with particular emphasis on skin categories, within agreed timelines and budget;
· Ensure adoption of Good Clinical Practices, Quality & Ethics in the conduct of clinical studies
· Coordinate with clinical research organisations, institutions, external & Unilever Ethics Committees, etc, and other internal and external interfaces, for  the conduct of the clinical studies;
· Assure the handling and reporting of safety information in clinical studies according to regulatory requirements;
· Communicate and report clinical study information;
· Work closely with other R&D functions (Discover, Design & Deploy) to execute the clinical studies
· Build and line manage the clinical talent in the team in the area of skin clinicals

Knowledge & Skills:
· Strong, proven scientific background in R&D , with emphasis on skin research (minimum of 2 years in skin research)
· Knowledge of skin measurements and use of relevant instruments
· Understanding of clinical trials
·  Good execution and organizing capability
· Demonstrable ability to lead and manage teams
· Competency and experience in writing technical documentation and reports
· Detail oriented and with a desire for excellence in execution
· Good written and oral communication.

Qualification: Masters degree in Biology [preferred experience in skin biology/biochemistry] with a strong academic record

Experience: 6+ years of previous experience of working in a pharmaceutical or FMCG R&D/ clinical research, with at least 2 years of clinical understanding /R&D research experience in skincare.
