Recruitment for Consultant Pharmacist at Chief District Medial & Public Health Officer

Applications are invited from willing retired Government Servants in enclosed format (Application Form) for re-employment of 16 (sixteen) numbers of retired Pharmacists as Consultant Pharmacists against regular vacancy on contractual basis for a period of two year or till the vacancies are filled up by regular appointment, whichever is earlier with the following eligibility, terms and conditions.

Applicability
These guidelines shall apply to officers to be re-employed to such posts/services as may be decided by the Government from lima to time.

Eligibility Conditions
(i) Officers who have retired from Government service on attaining the age of superannuation and below the age of sixty five years having good service records and are physically fit shall be eligible to be considered for re-employment,
(ii) Officers against whom departmental proceedings or criminal cases are contemplated/ pending or who have been penalized for misconduct during the period of preceding five years will not be eligible for consideration.

Selection Process
(I) Selection of persons will be made through open advertisement.
(ii) There shall be a Selection Committee as may be decided by the appointing authority for the post/posts required to be filled up by re-employment.


Tenure, Terms and Conditions
(i)The re-employment shall be made initially for a period of two years and can be extended for subsequent period of two years with spells of one year each subject to satisfactory performance up to a total period of four years not beyond the age of sixty-five years of age in any case or till the posts are filled up by regular process whichever is earlier.
(ii) Re-employed officers will be entitled to pay and other allowances as determined by the Administrative Department/Appointing Authority with the concurrence of the Finance Department.
(iii) Re-employed officers shall be governed by the provisions of Odisha Government Servants Conduct Rules, 1957 and shall be liable to be proceeded against for their misconduct, omissions and commissions as per the provisions under the Odisha Pension Rules, 1992
(iv) The re-employment can be terminated at any time by the respective appointing authority due to unsatisfactory performance of any of the re-employed officer by giving one month notice. On  the contrary if any re-employed officer desires to resign he shall do so by giving notice. one month's written notice to the competent authority.

2) The selection procedure for re-employment/ engagement will be governed by the procedure and Rules laid down in G.A, Department Resolution No. 23750/Gen, dtd. 27,08.2014,
3) Re-employed officers shall be governed by the provisions of Odisha Government Servants' Conduct Rules, 1957 and shall be liable to be proceeded against for their misconduct, omissions and commissions as per provisions under the Odisha Pension Rules 1992.
4) Re-employed officers will be entitled to pay and other allowances fixed as per the Finance Department Office Memorandum No 24533/F dtd, 29.09,2022.
5) Officers who have retired form Government service on attaining the age of superannuation and below the age of sixty five years having good service records and are physically fit shall be eligible to be considered for re-employment/engagement.
6) Officers against whom departmental proceedings or criminal cases are contemplated/pending or who have been penalized for misconduct during the period of preceding five years will not be eligible for consideration.

On the contrary if any re¬employed officer desires to resign he shall do so by giving one month's written notice to the competent authority.
8) Officers applied for ministerial post (OSD) should have operational computer knowledge.
9) Eligible willing retired Government Servants who are interested to be re-employed for aforesaid posts shall apply to the Chief District Medita; & Public Health Officer, Koraput in given format by Registered Post/ Speed Post only which should reach this office on or before dtd. 20.07.2023 by 5.00 P.M. The envelope containing the application form should be super scribed in capital letters as "APELICTfON FOR RE¬EMPLOYMENT FOR THE POST OF falling which it will be rejected.
10) Application received in any other mode and after due date will not be accepted. Also the incomplete forms in any respect will not be considered.
11) The shortlisted candidates are required to appear for on interview before the selection committee for re-employment.
12) The undersigned reserves the right to reject any or all the applications and modify/cancel the advertisement without assigning any reason thereof.
