Applications are invited upto 31st July, 2017 for temporary contractual post of Scientist-B (Non Medical) (One Post) and Data Entry Operator (Grade B) (One Post)) in ICMR’s Annual Report work in the Division of Informatics, Systems & Research Management (ISRM).

Scientist-B (Non Medical) (One Post)
Essential Qualifications: 1st class Master’s degree in any field of Life Sciences/ Biological Sciences from a recognized university or 2nd class Master’s degree with Ph.D degree in Life Sciences from a recognized university
Desirable Qualifications: Ph.D degree, Post-Doctoral research experience, Experience of working with a science journal, Experience/skill in scientific writing, Handling of Databases, Knowledge of IT/computers. Age: Not exceeding 35 years as on 31st July, 2017
Salary: Rs. 48000/- pm (fixed) plus HRA as per rules

The date and time of the interview will be displayed on ICMR website. Shortlisted candidates will be intimated by email.

The selected candidates will work in the editorial section of ICMR Annual Report. They will be associated with the report and among other assignments. The posts are contractual and purely temporary till the duration of sanction. The selected candidates will be governed by the ICMR rules applicable to temporary project staff. They will have no claim for regular appointment under ICMR. Benefits of Provident Fund, CCA, Leave Travel Concession, Medical claim etc. are not admissible.

Shortlisted candidates will be called for personal discussion at ICMR Hqrs., Ansari Nagar, New Delhi- 110029 as per the schedule, along with their Bio-Data, self-attested photocopies and original documents and testimonials supporting educational qualifications and desired experience for verification. Candidates already in employment should also bring a No-objection certificate (NOC) from their employer. No TA/DA will be paid for the interview. Age relaxation will be given as per rules of the Central Government. Age concession to the extent of service rendered in other research projects will also be admissible for experienced and skilled persons.
