About the department
Global Medical Affairs (GMA) Bangalore, an extension of GMA in headquarters (HQ), is based out of Global Service Centre (GSC). GMA Bangalore was set-up to secure scientific support to the insulin portfolio, devices, NovoNorm® and liraglutide for diabetes. In addition to this, GMA Bangalore will support key countries in International Operations (IO) by rolling out pre-existing Medical Education programmes in these countries.

• As a Global Project Manager you will take the lead role in management of different projects including development and roll-out of Global Medical Affairs strategy. You will be highly involved in the coordination of global KOL engagement activities, being in the leading role for implementation of yearly cycles of KOL engagement, ensuring global alignment with affiliates. In this position you will be coordinating Global Medical Affairs input in the launch process and you will be leading strategic medical projects to optimise and drive successful roll-out of KOL strategic activities, while ensuring timely tracking and reporting of Medical Affairs KPI’s. Furthermore you will be responsible for timely input to affiliates medical affairs plans as required. You will be assigned to lead other strategically important projects anchored in Global Medical Affairs Biopharm.
International travel will take approximately 30% and relate to project planning and engagement with affiliates in their planning process.

Qualification
A successful candidate should hold a university degree in business, communication or science studies. A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with 3-5 yrs project management is required. Cross-functional, cross-geographic project management experience will be required. Knowledge of and experience in a Medical Affairs position is preferred. Fluency in English (written and verbal) is an essential. The ideal candidate is a good team player, has a structured work approach and has a proven ability in building good relationships with many different stakeholders. You are proactive, ready for change, ambitious and have a quality mind-set.
