Post : Herbal Extract - Business Unit Head

Job Description

  • Head the Operations & Business Development of Herbal Products SBU with current sales of around 5 million USD
  • Business development and exploring new revenue and brand building in India & Internationally.
  • Organize events/Exhibitions/B2B meetings to get new business leads
  • Support the development of business unit Sales & Marketing strategy & identify business opportunities
  • P&L responsibility with a mandate to transform the Herbal Division and oversee all related operations, Sales, Marketing.
  • Prepare budgets for the Division, including estimates of all revenue & costs heads, for monthly, quarterly & annual plan to achieve the same.
  • Responsible for Companys positioning, Account and new geographies penetration strategy, Identify market opportunities, gaps and threats.
  • Responsible for existing account management and ensure customer satisfaction and account mining for additional business through efficacious customer engagement.
  • At least 20+ Years of experience on Herbal Products with emphasis of herbal extracts and formulations business development and Sales.
  • Exposure/ understanding to US/ Japan and Asian Herbal extract market besides domestic market experience
  • Bachelors degree in science/ pharmacy preferable with post graduate qualifications in marketing/ business management or equivalent education with Herbal market experience.
  • Deep understanding of herbal extraction/ herbal products & business nuances
  • Possess skills to drive business growth, capitalize on new revenue potential and manage multiple aspects of daily business operations.
  • Target driven, leads from the front, Good Negotiating Skills.
