Indian Institute of Technology Delhi is one of the seven Institutes of Technology created as centres of excellence for higher training, research and development in science, engineering and technology in India, the others being at Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Bombay, Guwahati and Roorkee. Established as College of Engineering in 1961, the Institute was later declared an Institution of National Importance under the "Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act, 1963" and was renamed "Indian Institute of Technology Delhi". It was then accorded the status of a deemed university with powers to decide its own academic policy, to conduct its own examinations, and to award its own degrees.

Applications are invited from Indian Citizens for One Pharmacist post for IIT Delhi Hospital on purely contract basis and with a consolidated salary as per details mentioned below, initially for a period of one year, extendable on year-to-year basis, but limiting to three years:

Post : Pharmacist

Consolidated Salary : Rs. 20,000/-

Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years as on the date of Interview

Minimum Qualification / Experience Essential:
1.   Degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharma) from a recognized University/ Institute with at least 55 % marks plus 02 years of relevant experience.
2.   Should be registered as a 'Pharmacist' under the Pharmacy Act, 1948. Desirable: Proficiency in the use of a variety of computer office applications, M.S Word, Excel, Power-point or equivalent preferred

Venue Board Room, IIT Delhi (Near Director's Office)

Note:
1. No candidate may be entertained if, he/she reports after the above mentioned time of reporting
2. Mere fulfillment of qualifications and experience requirements does not entitle any candidate to be Interviewed. If the number of candidates reporting for the Interview is more than 10, then the Selection Committee may decide to increase the percentage of marks in the qualifying degree (essential) to shortlist the candidates to be interviewed.
3. Please note that this is purely a temporary arrangement and appearance in the Walk-in-Interview and selection thereafter, does not entitle for any claim what-so-ever or permanency on the regular establishment of IIT Delhi.
4. No T.A/ D.A will be paid for attending the interview.
5. The candidates who fulfill the above qualifications/experience should report for Interview at above venue. Please bring your formal application along with Bio-data having complete information regarding educational qualification indicating percentage of marks of each examination passed, details of work experience etc. and a recent passport size photograph, along with Original and attested photocopies certificates (academic & professional) addressed to Assistant Registrar (Estt-2), IIT Delhi.
