Post : Senior Product Manager/Marketing Manager

Job Description:
This role will be responsible for developing the annual and three-year marketing and sales strategy for the assigned portfolio, plan for new launches and oversee implementation of plans with the objective of maximizing the sales for the assigned portfolio, identifying new customer segments / product segments and enhancing the brand image of Roche Products in the Indian market and contributing to enhancing the market share of Roche in India.

- You will understand disease prevalence/ incidence, current treatment algorithms, competitors and their strategy in terms of pricing & positioning, conduct a product SWOT analysis for Roche products based on product strategy, identify the customer segmentation & profiling and finalize the brand positioning
- You will create business cases for new launches or for targeting new customer segments, develop the product pricing strategy along with other stakeholders and work with the sales team to create a 3-year forecast and an annual fixed plan for the assigned product
- You will allocate expenses between products (taking into consideration stage in product life cycle, potential for future growth and profit contribution, potential competitors)
- You will identify requirements for market research in terms of end outcome, identify KOLs for market research, design questionnaire for research, define criteria for selection of agencies and coordinate with procurement team for finalization of a market research agency / creative agency
- You will review the monthly sales forecast with logistics and sales teams, take necessary action in case of budget deviations, track the marketing and sales expenses along with the finance teams, conduct quarterly reviews with the sales team and seek feedback from sales team and create action plans to increase penetration of products for long and short term
- You will also liaise with the medical team for promotional and non-promotional events such as speaker talks, conferences, etc., finalize promotional budgets, oversee conduct of scientific sessions in national congresses, ISPs, brand review meetings, Ad Boards and Expert Forums, oversee execution of marketing / promotional events planned and seek feedback on events and decide action steps for improvement.

 

Candidate Profile
1) You are a Post-Graduate with 8 – 10 years of experience in sales and marketing
2) You have knowledge of pharmaceutical industry and the organization's products
3) You have knowledge of marketing tools and techniques as well as statistical analysis tools
4) You are someone who possesses excellent interpersonal & collaboration skills and a temperament to operate efficiently in a cross functional environment with a consistent performance track record
