Duties (a) Development of Pharmacopoeial standards of drugs (plants, animals & mineral origin) for Ayurveda, Unani & Siddha System of Medicine and Preparation of Monographs thereon.
(b) Regulatory Testing of Drugs under the purview of Drugs & Cosmetic Act and Rules, 1940.
