Institute of Nano Science and Technology, Mohali invites applications from prospective candidates with independent source of fellowship for admission to its Ph.D. Programme in the following three units Energy Environment unit, Quantum Material and Devices unit, Chemical biology unit. 

The applicants should hold a Ph.D. degree in Life Science, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Bio-medical engineering, Nanoscience & Nanotechnology, Biosensing, Bioinformatics, and other related areas.

M.Sc, M.Tech, Master of Pharmaceutical Sciences Degree in Pharmacology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Nanoscience and Nanotechnology with NET, GATE qualification. National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC-NET including lectureship Assistant Professorship or GATE. 

Doctoral degree in Science, Engineering, Technology, Pharma from a recognized University or equivalent. Experience of working with national, international testing & certification laboratories, organizations.

Doctoral degree in Science, Engineering or Masters Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university or an equivalent Master degree with experience from industry, institution in the field of biotechnology, pharmaceutical.

B.Pharmacy with minimum two years Diploma in Medical Imaging Technology from State Board of Technical Education or any equivalent Diploma from a recognized Board, University.

Deciphering the role of Fibroblast Growth Factors Dynamics in experimental models of Alzheimers disease. Experience in stereotaxic surgery, In-vitro and molecular biology techniques including RT-PCR, Western blot, In-situ hybridization etc. will be preferred. 

PhD in Science, Engineering, Technology or Masters Degree in Engineering or Technology from recognized university/institute Specialization in Biotechnology, Bioprocessing, Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Chemistry or relevant area with two years’ experience

Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemistry from a recognized University, Institute and having at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed journal.
