The Centre of Biomedical Research (CBMR) at Lucknow established with aims to promote and strengthen multidisciplinary areas of research and to create opportunity for extraordinary talented scientists to research at the interface between Chemical, Biological, Medical Sciences and NMR Spectroscopy. The centre focuses research in interfacing small molecule synthesis with Biology for developing future medicines and therapies. The government has generously invested in CBMR to create state-of-the-art facilities in molecular synthesis for Drug development and Discovery, Chemical Biology, Cell Biology, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and NMR Spectroscopy.

Institute of Nano Science and Technology (INST) invites applications for Post-Doctoral Research Fellows. Selected Post-Doctoral Fellows will work in  interdisciplinary major projects with faculty of INST. Interested candidates should have strong research interest in Nano Science and Technology (Drug delivery, sensors, energy, agriculture, water purification, scanning probe microscopy, high resolution electron microscopy, smart materials, devices, microfluidics, industrial and societal technologies).

Applications are invited from highly motivated and bright candidates for engagement as Junior Research Fellow/Project assistant in the research project funded by DST SERB-EMR, Government of India, under the supervision of Dr. Ramendra Sundar Dey, Principal Investigator, Institute of Nano Science and Technology, Mohali.

Jiwaji University Gwalior came into existence on May 23, 1964, through M.P. Govt. Ordinance no. 15 of 1963. Late Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, the then President of India, laid the foundation stone on 11th December 1964 at a sprawling campus of over 225 acres of land at Naulakha Parade ground. This was a generous contribution of Scindia family, in particular Kailashwasi Maharaja Shrimant Jiwaji Rao Scindia and late Rajmata Shrimati Vijayaraje Scindia. The institution was christened after the name of Kailashwasi Shrimant Jiwajirao Scindia as a standing memorial to his personal.
