PhD in Computer Science, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics or related discipline with application of the above-mentioned skills. Demonstrated experience in development of software tools and data analysis pipelines.
Hands-on experience in DNA sequence data analysis from FASTQ files, particularly on Human genomic or Metagenomic samples using standard data analysis pipeline. M.Sc / M.Tech in Life Science or experience in bioinformatic analysis of genomic/meta genomic data or Ph.D.in Life Science
Placenta is an essential organ that is considered to be the hub of feto-maternal interactions from conception to delivery. Placental insufficiency has been associated with several pregnancy related complications including preterm birth. However, direct invasive tissue-sampling from the placenta during pregnancy is not feasible due to inaccessibility and safety concerns.
NLRP3 inflammasome has been implicated in a wide range of diseases. Few studies have reported on the NLRP3- NEK7- complex axis role in disease pathogenesis. The functional role of NLRP3 needs to shed light to get deeper insights into the NEK7 role in human immune or inflammatory mediated functions. Overall, our study will be critical for identifying and facilitating in developing therapeutic regimes for better treatments of NLRP3 inflammasome- related inflammatory diseases.
