Royal College of Pharmacy is one of the oldest among the various colleges of Chhattisgarh, as its stepping stone was placed in the year 2004. Our College was established by the society of Combined Academy of Technical Education, Raipur. This Society made it unique centre of excellence at all levels of Pharmaceutical Education under the leadership of Chairman. The institution has been approved by PCI, New Delhi and All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi (Formerly), Affliated from Chhattishgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, Bhilai.

Guru Nanak Institutions is one of the largest educational groups in India with 10,000 plus Students currently enrolled in various programs of studies including Engineering and Technology, Pharmacy, Business Management and Dental Science. Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University was established as a State University vide U.P. State Government notification no. (10)/(865)/15/(75)(85)/64 dated 23 November 1973. It has a rare distinction of taking birth through a powerful popular movement during early seventies in the last century. This movement symbolized the hopes and aspirations of the masses of the region of Garhwal for the development through higher education. National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) is the first national level institute in pharmaceutical sciences with a proclaimed objective of becoming a centre of excellence for advanced studies and research in pharmaceutical sciences. The Government of India has declared NIPER as an 'Institute of National Importance'. It is an autonomous body set up under the aegis of Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India.

The department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Rungta College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research (RCPSR), Bhilai, (affiliated to Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda Technical University, Bhilai) Chhattisgarh has been a relent less and pioneer in spreading the Pharmaceutical education in each nook and corner of globe.
