This institute is customer and eco-friendly and caters close to 350,000 Outdoor patients (OPD) per year along with Indoor facilities. The Hospital has been constructed on an area of 8.82 Acres. Total covered area: 36,000 sq. meters. The Hospital was inaugurated by the then Honorable Chief Minister of Delhi on 18th Sept., 2008. The Janakpuri Super Specialty Hospital (JSSH) was registered as Society on 20th September, 2013.

The Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine (CCRUM) is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. Since its establishment in 1978, the CCRUM as the apex government organization for research in Unani Medicine has been engaged in conducting scientific research on the applied as well as fundamental aspects of Unani system of medicine. Consequently, over the past four decades of its existence, the Council has made significant strides in clinical resear.
