Post : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Essential Qualifications : M.Sc. in Chemical sciences / Life sciences OR M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical chemistry / Natural Products OR M.Tech in Biotechnology / Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. Additionally, candidate should have qualified one of the following examinations. (A) National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC-NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE.
(B) The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc. Desirable Experience: Prior working experience EITHER in synthetic chemistry OR experience with mammalian cell culture and molecular biology techniques.

Age limit : Must not be over 28 years as on 17.08.2026, which is relaxable for certain reserved categories as per rules of Government of India.

Fellowship : Rs. 37,000/- (pm) + HRA (as applicable)
Project duration : Up to end of project tenure i.e., 08.01.2027. Selected candidate should be able to join immediately upon selection. No extension would be possible.

General Terms and Conditions :
• The position is purely temporary and on contractual basis. The position is co-terminus with the project. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• Original documents of age proof/certificates/degrees/mark sheets and other testimonials must be presented along with the self-attested photocopies of these documents at the time of interview (when interview will take in person).
