In continuation of this department’s earlier advertisement published vide No. HSE/143/2017/14595, dated 14"' Dec’ 2017, in the newspapers, inviting applications from intending candidates for Newly created Model Hospitals in the State for filling up of 34 number of posts for Pharmacists in different Districts under the Directorate of Health Services, Assam, it is further notified that additional 64 posts in different Districts of Assam under similar/ different categories have become available.(ADDENDUM)

The Central Selection Board (CSB), Bodoland Territorial Council, Kokrajhar invites application from the eligible candidates for filling up the following post of Grade-Ill posts lying vacant under the Department of Health & Family Welfare BTC, in the pay band and Grade pay plus other allowances as admissible under the Rules of Govt, of Assam issued from the time to time. The number of vacancy of posts may likely to increase or decrease subject to the approval of the BTC authority at the time of declaration of final result. The Educational qualification and other eligibility criteria for the posts are as given below.

While the responsibility for the delivery of health care services rests largely with the State Governments, the Central Government sets policies and provides resources for the implementation of nationally formulated Programs.   National AIDS Control Organization (NACO) under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare envisions an India where every person living with HIV has access to quality care and is treated with dignity.  In order to achieve the goal of, “halting and reversing the epidemic”, the focus is laid on prevention, care, support and treatment efforts.

Walk-in-interview has been fixed by the following Institution for filling up the following vacant posts under Assam State AIDS Control Society Guwahati 781022 on the date as mentioned against the Institution. The selected candidate will be appointed on contractual basis in ART Centre, Tezpur Medical College & Hospital, Tezpur, initially for a period up to 31/03/2018 and may be extended based on performance appraisal as per the terms of reference of the instruction.

The AIDS Control Programme in Assam was started as a State AIDS Cell which was established in the year 1992 in the office of the Director of Health Services, Assam under the National AIDS Control Organization (NACO) for implementing the National AIDS Control Programme (NACP) Phase I. One State AIDS Programme Officer in the rank of Jt. Director of Health Services was appointed to run the programme and other officers and staffs were also appointed as per guideline. The State AIDS Cell of Assam had followed the National AIDS Prevention Policy, Govt. of India for implementing the AIDS Control Programme in Assam. The first phase of the National AIDS Control Programme came to its end in the year 1997 and was extended up to 1998.Meanwhile the Assam State AIDS Control Society (ASACS) was formed and registered in the month of October 1998 under the Society Registration Act 1860 of which Minister, Health & FW Deptt. Govt. of Assam is the Chairman of the Governing Body and the Senior most Secretary, Health & FW Deptt. is the Chairman of the Executive Council.

Northeast Frontier Railway has Five Divisions namely, Tinsukia, Lumding, Rangiya, Alipurduar & Katihar & at field level these Divisions are directly responsible for Train operations and reports to General Manager. Each of these Divisions is headed by Divisional Railway Manager, a Senior Administrative Grade officer of the rank of Joint Secretary to Government of India.

It has been decided to conduct “Walk-in-interview 'for filling up the following vacant posts of Para- Medical Staff in this Railway by engaging suitable candidates, purely on contract basis. The engagement will be on a full time basis on fixed consolidated month y remuneration for a period not exceeding 30-06-2018 (i.e. the validity of the scheme) or appointment/availability of regularly selected candidates from Railway Recruitment Board/ or availability of regular railway employee whichever is earlier.
