Realising the importance of skill development in addressing the challenges of unemployment and to ensure gainful employment for the poor and vulnerable people, Skill Development Policy was notified by the State on 30.01.2009 with constitution of Skill Development Mission under the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary.
Government of Haryana has set up Haryana Skill Development Mission in society mode for coordinating Skill Development in the State. Mission is implementing various Skill Development Schemes in Haryana. Mission invites applications from qualified, experienced and passionate young & dynamic professionals for the following posts purely on contractual basis

In February 2013, Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK), a Child Health Screening and Early Intervention Services Programme to provide comprehensive care to all the children (from birth to 18 years of age) in the community. The objective of this ambitious programme is to improve the overall quality of life of children through early detection and management of birth Defects, Diseases, Deficiencies, Developmental Delays including Disability (4Ds) and provision of universal health care to children from birth to 18 years of age.All the children identified with any of the 4Ds will be given medical as well a s surgical treatment free of cost. The program has huge potential to alleviate future suffering of these children in the state, in general and those from rural areas, in particular, as equitable child health care. Moreover it will also reduce the out of pocket expenditure of the poor families spent on the treatment of health conditions in childhood. Haryana becomes the second state after Maharashtra to roll out this program in India.
Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India launched CDSA on 28 September 2009 as an extramural unit of Translational Health Science & Technology Institute (THSTI). It was created to facilitate development of affordable healthcare products for public health diseases. Registered as a not-for profit research organization, it aims to develop an eco-system for training and learning and work with public sector institutions, and small and medium enterprises (SME) to translate innovative technologies into medical products for public good.
