The Central Government Health Scheme was started in 1954 with the objective of providing comprehensive medical care to the Central Government employees, both serving and pensioners and their dependent family members. The scheme is also providing service to members and former members of parliament, judges of Supreme Court and High Court, freedom fighters, former Governors and former Vice-Presidents of India.
Under the National Health Mission, through the District Integrated Health Society, Zilla Parishad, Kolhapur, on the combined honorarium, the following posts will be filled on contract basis and the candidates who get maximum marks will be recruited" according to merit .

Originally, known as Kalyan Military transit camp, Ulhasnagar was set up especially to accommodate 6,000 soldiers and 30,000 others during World War II. There were 2,126 barracks and about 1,173 housed personals.
