ABSTRACT:
Cancer is the uncontrollable growth of cells.  Exponential growth and doubling times of cell is 2 times or 3 times than normal cell growth, doubling times is varies among various kind of tumour’s:

  • in acute leukemia (2 week)
  • in multiple myeloma (6 to 12 hour)

Tumour detected when the no. of cells reaches approximately 109 to 1010 cells. Cancer vaccines that boost the immune system’s natural ability to protect body against foreign invaders that causes disease. Vaccines are 2 types: prophylactic and therapeutic. Cancer preventive vaccine target infectious agents that cause cancer and prevent cancer in healthy people and therapeutic vaccines treat cancer in cancer suffering patients.

Abstract
Gastric emptying is a complex process and makes in vivo performance of the drug delivery systems uncertain. In order to avoid this variability, efforts have been made to increase the retention time of the drug-delivery systems for more than 12 hours. The Microballoons delivery systems are useful in such application. Microballoonsare gastro-retentive drug delivery systems based on non-effervescent approach. Microballoonsare in strict sense, spherical empty particles without core and ideally having a size less than 200 micrometer. Microballoonsare low-density systems that have sufficient buoyancy to float over gastric contents and remain in stomach for prolonged period. The drug is released slowly at desired rate resulting in increased gastric retention with reduced fluctuations in plasma drug concentration. Microballoons improve patient compliance by decreasing dosing frequency; better therapeutic effect of short half-life drugs can be achieved. These are primarily controlled release drug delivery systems, which gets retained in the stomach for longer periods of time, thus helping in absorption of drug for the intended duration of time. Gastric retentive drug delivery devices can be useful for the spatial and temporal delivery of many drugsbecause of buoyancy.

ABSTRACT:
Synriam™ is new drugs combination in India Market and its Generic name is Arterolane Maleate and Piperaquine Phosphate. It was launched by Ranbaxy Laboratories Limited on 25 April, 2012 and approved in 2011 by Drug Controller General of India. Synriam is a fixed dose combination of two antimalarial active ingredients. Each film coated tablet contains Arterolane maleate 150 mg. and Piperaquine phosphate 750 mg, developed as simplified once-a-day therapy for three days for the treatment of acute, uncomplicated P. falciparum malaria in adult. Arterolane a synthetic trioxalane rapidly kills the malaria parasite in blood, providing fast relief from symptoms of malaria. Piperaquine on the other hand has a longer lasting effect than arterolane and kills the residual parasites, preventing the recurrence of malaria. SYNRIAM has been effective in geographical regions where resistance to chloroquine has been reported. The fever clearance time for SYNRIAM is shorter than that of arthemeter-lumefantrine. This is an added benefit over arthemeter-lumefantrine regimen, which has to be taken with high fat meals twice a day. This food independent dosing will improve patient convenience and compliance. The efficacy of Synriam has been confirmed in comparative study conduct in India, Thailand and Bangladesh.

ABSTRACT:
Pain management is important for ongoing pain control, especially if you suffer with long-term or chronic pain. NSAIDs or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs are among the most common pain relief medicines in the world. Every day more than 30 million peoples use them to soothe headaches, sprains, arthritis symptoms, and other daily discomforts, according to the American Gastroenterological Association. Propionic acid derivatives are widely regarded as the drugs of first choice in the management of patients with inflammatory joint disease because they are the class of NSAIDs with the lowest incidence of side effects. Zaltoprofen (ZLT) is a propionic acid derivative of non steroidal anti inflammatory class, which has excellent effect on post-surgery or post trauma chronic inflammation of the drug. So, Zaltoprofen may serve as a potent and superior analgesic for the treatment of pain. Zaltoprofen has the dose of 80 mg three times a day which reduce patient compliance and used in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and other chronic inflammatory Pain conditions. ZLT has recently been reported to cause potent inhibition of cyclooxygenase-2 with fewer side effects on the gastro-intestinal tract than other non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs.

ABSTRACT
Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic, systemic inflammatory disorder that may affect many tissues and organs, but principally attacks synovial joints. The process produces an inflammatory response of the synovium (synovitis) secondary to hyperplasia of synovial cells, excess synovial fluid and the development of pannus in the synovium. Various treatments are available. Non-pharmacological treatment includes physical therapy, orthoses, occupational therapy and nutritional therapy. Analgesia (painkillers) and anti-inflammatory drugs including steroids are used to suppress the symptoms, while disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs) are often required to inhibit or halt the underlying immune process and prevent long-term damage. In recent times, the newer group of biologics has increased treatment options.
