National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER - Raebareli) is an autonomous body which has been established under the aegis of the Department of pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, in the Government of India, to provide leadership in pharmaceutical Sciences and other related areas. It admits students for M.S (Pharm), programmes in Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology & Toxicology, Regulatory Toxicology and Biotechnology every year. Ph.D programmes in Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology & Toxicology started from 2017 and in Biotechnology from 2021.
Post : Project Associate
Project Title : Biodegradable Polymer Based Nanocarrier for Gene Delivery Applications in the Treatment of Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC)
Funding Agency : Department of Health Research (DHR)
Project Duration : 3 years (up to the termination of the project)
Emoluments : Project Associate @Rs. 42,000 (Consolidated).
Essential Qualifications : MS (Pharm) / M.Tech / MSc. in Pharmaceutics / Biotechnology / Polymer Chemistry, Life Science with a consistently good academic record with a minimum 70% aggregate or 7.5 CGPA
Desirable Qualification : Candidates with GPAT/GATE/NET, or any other equivalent national-level qualification will be preferred.
Experience : Prior research experience in Polymer synthesis, polymer nano-formulation, lipid nanoparticles, handling mammalian cell cultures, animal handling, and proficiency in writing proposals/grants.
Upper age Limit : 28 Years.
The upper age limit is relaxable as per GOI rules

1. NIPER Raebareli reserves the right to fix suitable selection criteria and or not to select any candidate in case candidates are not found suitable for the applied position.
2. The above post is purely temporary and is co-terminus with the project.
3. The position will initially be for a period of one year, with the possibility of extending it up to an additional two years, contingent upon the candidate’s performance and the overall duration of the project.
4. The interview is tentatively scheduled for 25th August 2026 at 11:00 AM., to be held at NIPER- Raebareli transit campus.
