The CSIR-National Botanical Research Institute is amongst one of the constituent research institutes of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi. Originally set up as the National Botanic Gardens (NBG) by the State Government of Uttar Pradesh  it was taken over by the CSIR in 1953.

Agra Public group of Education (APGE) is the oldest and largest group of Agra which was established by Late Shri P.L Sharma in 1965 under the flagship of Agra Public Education Society. G.S.V.M. Medical College, Kanpur, known for its academic excellence world over , is named after Late Shri Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi, a great freedom fighter ,who lost his life at the altar of the communal frenzy in Kanpur in March 1931. This was the first medical college of U.P. established in independent India, forming a landmark in the annals of medical education in the state of U.P. It is one of the five medical colleges in India established under the second five year plan.

Sakshi College of Pharmacy, Kanpur is recognized from from the both governing bodies, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi & Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi and its D. Pharm & B. Pharm courses are affiliated to Board of Technical Education (BTE), Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh & Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh respectively.

Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Pharmacy (MGIP) was established in 2008. The Institute is approved by PCI, AICTE and affiliated to DrAPJAKTU, Lucknow. It is offering Diploma of Pharmacy(D. Pharm.) MORADABAD EDUCATIONAL TRUST (MET) was established in the year 1996 and started 4 years degree course in Pharmacy in the year 2009 (B. Pharm) under the banner of Faculty of Pharmacy. Subsequently Diploma in Pharmacy will start from the Academic Session 2018-19. The Institute is situated on the bank of holy river Ram Ganga in the Brass city of India (Moradabad). The College is approved by AICTE, PCI, New Delhi and affiliated to Dr. A. P. J.
