MORADABAD EDUCATIONAL TRUST (MET) was established in the year 1996 and started 4 years degree course in Pharmacy in the year 2009 (B. Pharm) under the banner of Faculty of Pharmacy. Subsequently Diploma in Pharmacy will start from the Academic Session 2018-19. The Institute is situated on the bank of holy river Ram Ganga in the Brass city of India (Moradabad). Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, popularly known as CIMAP, is a frontier plant research laboratory of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). Established originally as Central Indian Medicinal Plants Organisation (CIMPO) in 1959, CIMAP is steering multidisciplinary high quality research in biological and chemical sciences and extending technologies and services to the farmers and entrepreneurs of medicinal and aromatic plants (MAPs) with its research headquarter at Lucknow and Research Centres at Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pantnagar and Purara.

The CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute (CDRI), Lucknow, was seventh in the chain of CSIR labs that were established in India right after independence India with an aim for technological independence of the Nation. CSIR-CDRI was broadly mandated with the task to revolutionise the pharmaceutical sector, which was almost non-existent at that time for accessibility and affordability of drugs.

The R V Institute of Pharmacy has lush green campus and occupying more than 16 acres land on the State highway (76) . The noise and pollution free environment acts as  a stimulant for academic activities. The campus has planned buildings, laboratories, library, hostels and sports complex that catches the eye of every passer by.
