Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) is a multidisciplinary research institute situated in Jakkur, a locality north of Bangalore, India. It is relatively young yet well-known around the Globe. Our mandate is to pursue and promote world-class research and training at the frontiers of Science and Engineering covering broad areas ranging from Materials to Genetics. It provides a vibrant academic ambience hosting more than 200 Researchers.

The Public Petition dated 11-11-1839 initiated the establishment of Madras University. It was in January 1840 with Mr.George Norton as its President, that the University Board was constituted. In 1854 after a lapse of 14 years, the Government of India formulated a systematic educational policy for India and as a sequel to this on 5th September 1857 by an act of legislative council of India the University was established. The University was organised in the model of London University.

Baba Farid University of Health Sciences was established under an Act passed by the Legislature of the State of Punjab in July, 1998.

The Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science & Technology (Government of India) has established the Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI), an autonomous institution, as a part of the interdisciplinary Biotech Science Cluster at Faridabad in the National Capital Region. The permanent campus and buildings of THSTI are coming up at Faridabad and will be completed within one year. The Institute is currently functioning from interim facilities in Gurgaon.

Applications are invited for the position of a JRF in GSBTM sponsored project “To study the role of ubiquitin proteosome system and molecular chaperone 70 in the progression of Alzheimer’s disease using Drosophila as a model organism”.

Rajendra Memorial Research Institute of Medical Sciences, Patna, a permanent Institute under Indian Council of Medical Research, Dept. Of Health Research, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. Of India, invites applications from suitable Indian Nationals for appointment on the following Purely temporary posts (on contractual basis) under the project entitled “Implementation Research for Point of Care Diagnosis of Visceral Leishmaniasis in India”, sponsored by Grand Challenge Canada.

The Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai is the new state-of-the-art R&D satellite of the Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), which also includes under its umbrella the Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH), the largest cancer hospital in Asia. ACTREC has the mandate to function as a national centre for treatment, research and education in cancer. TMC is an autonomous grant-in-aid institution of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India.

The walk-in-interview for the positions of Research Associates/Senior Research Fellows and Junior Research Fellows in various projects will be conducted at this Institute on the date/time and venue and other details shown against each position on contractual basis which is co-terminus with the project/scheme.
