  • Ph.D. Fellowship Programme at Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences | 30 Fellowship

    The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) is an autonomous body under the Department of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha & Homoeopathy (AYUSH), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. The Council is an apex body in India for formulation, development and promotion of research in Ayurvedic system of medicine. The Council carries out its activities and functions through its network of 31 Institutions located all over India.

    The Central Research Councils function under Ministry of AYUSH, Govt, of India to promote and coordinate research activities in the respective systems of medicine, as indicated below:

  • Applications are invited for Senior Research Fellowship at BHARATHI COLLEGE OF PHARMACY

    Applications are invited for two Senior Research Fellowship positions for the project entitled “To develop Pharmacopoeia monographs on single drugs of plant”. This project is sponsored by Pharmacopoeia Commission for Indian Medicine & Homoeopathy (PCIM&H) with the total cost of Rs. 30 lakhs, at Bharathi College of Pharmacy, Bharathinagara Under the supervision of Dr. T.Tamizhmani and Dr. Senthilkumar. G. P. A fellowship of Rs. 25000 p.m. (inclusive of HRA) will be paid to the selected candidates for three year.

  • Walk in interview in PCIM at Central Council for Research in Siddha - M.Pharm, M.Sc | Government Job

    The Central Council for Research in Siddha (CCRS), Chennai, an Autonomous Body under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India proposes to engage the services of the following personnel on contract basis, as per the details given below. The engagement will be purely on contract basis, initially for a period of one year. The selection will be made on the basis of Walk-in-Interview to be held on the dates noted thereagainst, in the Central Council for Research in Siddha, SCRI Building (III Floor), Anna Government Hospital Campus, Arumbakkam, Chennai 600 106. A written test will be held, if need be, depending on the number of candidates, followed by the interview on the same day, of those candidates, who qualify in the written test. The decision of the Competent Authority will be final in this regard.

  • Career in National Botanical Research Institute for JRF, Project Assistant

    CSIR- National Botanical Research Institute (NBRI), Lucknow, a constituent laboratory of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), is a premier plant science research institute, involved in multidisciplinary R&D programmes of both basic and applied nature across scientific disciplines for economic, environmental and societal benefits for the people of India. CSIR-NBRI undertakes basic and applied research in strategically important areas of plant sciences.

    Eligible & interested candidates are invited for interview for the purely temporary positions in the following areas under the sponsored projects tenable at CSIR-NBRI:-

  • ICMR JRF Entrance Examination 2017

    ICMR JRF Examination is the first step in the process of admission to the Ph.D/    Research Programme through council's support. Test for ICMR JRF fellowship are conducted at the 12 centres viz. Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Srinagar and Varanasi once a year.  The award of JRF is made on merit basis by holding an entrance examination after issuing a countrywide admission notice.  The admission notice is published in leading English Newspapers of India usually during March/April and  also on the website. The entrance examination is usually held in the first/second week of July.

  • Recruitment for M.Pharm, M.Sc, B.Pharm in IIIM | Government Job

    Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM) is a national Institute of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) of India, with primary focus of research on drug discovery from natural products (medicinal plants and microbial species). IIIM is a multi-disciplinary organization encompassing the natural products chemistry, medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, microbiology, biotechnology and botanical sciences.

  • Job for Junior Research Fellow at Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development

    Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development (IBSD), a National Institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India invites applications for positions of JRF for 2017. The main mandate of IBSD is Conservation and Sustainable Utilization of Bioresources for the Socio-economic Development of the North East Region of India, which is a genetic treasure trove of plants, animals and microbial resources. This region falls among the World’s top 10 Biodiversity Hotspots. The broad areas of research are in Plant Bioresources, Microbial Resources, Natural Product Chemistry, Animal Bioresources and Bioinformatics and Database Management.

  • Applications are Invited for post of Junior Research Fellow at NIN

    Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following post on ad hoc research project entitled: ‘Phytochemical, Pharmacognostic and Nutritional Characterisation of the Panax Species (Aratiaceae) from the Eastern Himalayan Region, India for Addressing Medicinal, Trade and Regional Livelihood Security Issues". The project is funded by BCIL-DBT and executing agency is NIN. Applications will be received from the individuals on 15111 May. 2017 for the following post between 9:30 A.M. and 10:30 A.M. in the Training Class Rocm, NCLAS Building, NIN, Tarnaka, Hyderabad for Walk-in-Written Test/ Interview. Late applications will not be entertained after 10:30 A.M. under any circumstances. The Application form will be provided to the candidates at NIN on the date of walk-in-written test/ interview.

  • Recruitment for PROJECT FELLOW at BSI | Govt. of India - Ministry of Environment

    The Botanical Survey of India (BSI) was established in 1890 with the objectives of exploring the plant resources of the country and identifying plant species with economic virtue. In 1954, the Government reorganised the BSI with the objectives of (1) undertaking intensive floristic surveys and collecting accurate and detailed information on the occurrence, distribution, ecology and economic utility of plants in the country; (2) collecting, identifying and distributing materials that may be of use to educational and research institutions; and (3) acting as the custodian of authentic collections in well planned herbaria and documenting plant resources in the form of local, district, state and national flora
