Central Drugs Testing Laboratory provides chemical testing of various drugs such as isoniazid, thiamine mononitrate, amoxicillin, rifampicin and chloramphenicol. It checks for the description, identification, and loss on drying in these pharmaceutical compounds. The laboratory is also well equipped for the mechanical testing of rubber latex condoms and related products for their various properties such as dimension, burst pressure, package integrity and water leakage.The tests are conducted with highly reliable instruments and equipment.

Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) formerly known as Central Forensic Institute) was established in the year 2011 along with CFSL Pune and CFSL Guwahati, under the DFSS, MHA, Government of India.
