Chemistry Fellowship at NARIP, Cheruthuruthy

This Institute intends to engage services of the following post on contractual basis for IMR projects entitled “Phytomarker Profiling, Quality Control and Shelf-life Evaluation of Rasnasaptaka Ghana Vati Preparedwith Two Different Source of Plant of Rasna” and collaborative project entitled “Formulation, Standardization and evaluation of antimicrobial and wound healing activity of Ayush MS mouthwash” initially for a period of six months.

Post : Senior Research Fellow Chemistry) - 02 Nos.

Essential:- M.Sc. in Chemistry / Pharmaceutical Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry from a recognized University.

Desirable :
1. Minimum 2 years experience in Research and or Teaching in relevant field.
2. Having Hands on Experience in the HPTLC, HPLC and Uv-Visible Spectroscopy.
3. Preference will be given to those who possess higher qualification or have previous research experience on AYUSH & H Drugs preparation and standardization.
4. Having worked on any research project funded by the Ministry of AYUSH, ICMR, CSIR, DST or an equivalent organization.
5. Skills in drafting and editing of scientific documents/articles/technical reports etc.
6. Publication in a peer-reviewed journal and working knowledge of computers,

Age limit : Not exceeding 35 years as on 01.07.2026

Monthly Remuneration : Rs.42,000/- + 10% HRA

Interested candidates fulfilling the essential/desirable qualifications and age limit prescribed above, must report to National Ayurveda Research Institute for Panchakarma, Cheruthuruthy, Thrissur District, Kerala-679531 on prescribed date and time for screening, along with duly filled in bio-data form, one recent passport size photograph and original certificates with one set of self attested relevant certificates. No candidate will be allowed after 10:00 AM. General instruction:-

1. The engagement would be purely on contractual basis initially for a period of 6 months which may be extended or curtailed at the discretion of the competent authority, based on the performance of the selected candidate and co-terminus with the project and there will be no right to claim for continuation or regular appointment.
2. The eligibility of candidates in respect of age will be determined as on 01.07.2026 relaxable in the case of SC/ST/OBC as provided for in Govt, of India orders.
3. The format for submission of bio-data may be downloaded from the Council’s Website.
4. The candidates are required to appear in written test/interview. The selected candidate will have to submit Police clearance certificate and an undertaking in the non judicial stamp paper along with the joining report at the time of their joining.
5. The Director (Institute), NARIP, Cheruthuruthy reserves the rights to postpone or cancel the interview, without assigning any reason there off.
