Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) oversees the implementation of policies and programs for health and health care in the country. While the responsibility for the delivery of health care services rests largely with the State Governments, the Central Government sets policies and provides resources for the implementation of nationally formulated Programs.
National AIDS Control Organization (NACO) under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare envisions an India where every person living with HIV has access to quality care and is treated with dignity. In order to achieve the goal of, “halting and reversing the epidemic”, the focus is laid on prevention, care, support and treatment efforts.

NPPA is an organization of the Government of India which was established, inter alia, to fix/ revise the prices of controlled bulk drugs and formulations and to enforce prices and availability of the medicines in the country, under the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 1995.
The CCRS is the Apex body in India for formulation, co-ordination, development and promotion of research in Siddha. The Council carries out its activities and function through its network of 5 Institutes/Units located in Chennai, Puducherry, Thiruvananthapuram, Palayamkottai and Mettur dam.
