Qualification & Experience (Essential) : MPH/MSW/MSc Nursing/Other Masters degree in life sciences/Equivalent Professional degree
Qualification & Experience (Desirable) :
1.) Prior experience in health sector, especially in public health projects.
2.) Work experience in field studies.
Age Limit as on 30/11/2018 : 35 years
Consolidated Remuneration : Rs 31,000/- p m (cost for local transportation will be met for the project)
Tenure of appointment : Three months or till completion of the project, whichever is earlier.
Nature of appointment : Temporary (Purely on contract basis)
Brief Job Description :
The Research Assistant should be leading the survey teams in the field for the collection of blood samples for the ICMR sponsored multi-centre study to assess the impact of Measles- Rebella vaccination campaign in India. He/she has to travel across the entire Trivandrum district with the team. He/she is responsible to assure adherence to the safety precautions in the field and has to ensure that the blood samples are reaching SCTIMST in a safe and prompt way. He/she could be coordinating the work of 2-3 member survey team and report to the PI on a daily basis.
