Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) is an Autonomous Institution of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India. IPC is created to set standards of drugs in the country. Its basic function is to update regularly the standards of drugs commonly required for treatment of diseases prevailing in this region. It publishes official documents for improving Quality of Medicines by way of adding new and updating existing monographs in the form of Indian Pharmacopoeia (IP).

National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC) has been set up under the National Health Mission (NHM) as an autonomous registered society, to channelize technical assistance and capacity building support to the states for strengthening the public health system. The NHSRC is also mandated to assist in policy and strategy development, mobilization of technical assistance to the states and in capacity building for the states.

Headquartered in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh Medical Supplies Corporation Ltd. (UPMSCL) is registered under the Companies Act 2013 and set up with a seed capital of Rs. 20 Crores from the state exchequer. It is headed by an IAS officer and acts as the nodal organization for centralized procurement and distribution of drugs and equipment to Government Health Facilities in UttarPradesh.

Applications are invited from the qualified & registered Medical Pharmacist for appointment as Part-time Pharmacist of Bongaon Subsidiary correctional Home on a purely contractual basis for a period of (One) year from date acceptance, which can be extended after completion of satisfactory service. Retired Medical Pharmacist may also apply for the same. This appointment will not be permanent in future.

District Level Selection Committee (DLSC), Howrah will engage personnel for various vacant posts as mentioned below under National Health Mission, XV Finance Commission - Health Grant & National AIDS Control Programme on contractual basis in the District of Howrah. Under the National Health Mission, recruitment is required for 11 months from eligible candidates for the vacant posts of various categories in Mehsana district, for which interested candidates can apply. Applications submitted after due date will not be considered. Recruitment process will be done on merit basis.
