National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences is a multidisciplinary Institute for patient care and academic pursuit in the frontier area of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences. The Lunatic Asylum which came into being in the latter part of the 19th Century was renamed as Mental Hospital in 1925 by the erstwhile Government of Mysore. This hospital and All India Institute of Mental Health established in 1954 by Government of India were amalgamated on 27th December 1974, and thus was formed the autonomous National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS).

The year was 1993 when T. John College with its premises in Campbell Road, Austin Town, Bangalore – 47 begun. The college started by Dr. Thomas P John, offered a 3 year BHM (Hotel Management) Degree course to 24 students to start with.  The college also offered the BBM and BSc (CMS) courses. Since a humble beginning in 1993, there has been no looking back and every year the college crosses new milestones. Two decades later the college premises has expanded to include new departments and blocks and spread over an area of 20 acres of land. Cosmopolitan and secular in ethos and philosophy. T. Bioclinica is utilizing data and technology to enable more efficient trial conduct. We are looking at ways to reduce the size of the trials, provide greater clarity into the effect of the drug, and to reduce the amount of complexity in the trial. We do this by improving trial design and utilizing advanced analytics to identify patients who would be high responders for a particular clinical trial.
