All India Institute of Medical Sciences Patna is one of the six AIIMS established under Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna to bring the most sophisticated healthcare to the last man in the queue.
They will deliver this by creating a compassionate, caring, creative and clinical health work force with the logistics to integrate with the existing health care system and to build the capacity through collaboration and integration so that the common man gets the care at his/ her door step.

AIIMS Raipur is a apex healthcare institute, being established by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY). The Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Govt. of India has initiated a multi-institutional partnership program on biodesign called the National Bio design Alliance Programme between Translational Health Science & Technology Institute (THSTI), Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB), International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology ( ICGEB), All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi and Christian Medical College (CMC) Vellore.
