PRES's College of Pharmacy (For Women) is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, approved by AJCTE and PCI. Our college is established in 2006 with a view to meet the demands of women pharmacist and well trained and skilled employees to cater in pharmaceutical sector as well as to provide professional course with a socio-economic demands. College is located in distraction free, peaceful and competitive culture of Pravara Chincholi campus, Nashik on Nashik-Pune Highway, 10 km from Nashik Road.College has produced and placed around 480 B. Pharmacy and 32 M. Pharmacy fully skilled women pharmacist, caring healthcare throughout the country. College has perished in the form of publication, research contribution in various 50 National and 26 Foreign Journals. Totally 76 research and review articles cited 167 times since last 4 years, by other researchers which show its importance and output in pharmacy profession.

National Conference on Pioneering Pharmaceutical Research and Development to meet Global Challenges at Al-Ameen College of Pharmacy

Al-Ameen College of Pharmacy was established under the aegis of the Al-Ameen Educational Society in the year 1982, since then the college has been a nurturing ground for pharmacy professionals. In recognition of the excellence of its educational standards, Al-Ameen College of Pharmacy has been accredited for 5 years by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and AICTE. In keeping with its objective of providing the best possible pharmacy education, the college constantly strives to maintain a strong infrastructure with modern labs, instruments, equipments and other amenities comprising of highly knowledgeable faculty most of whom hold doctorates and facilities that enable students to gain a contemporary education. Continuous interaction with industry is maintained to ensure that the learning program remains relevant to the changing trends in the field of pharmacy. The college is constantly seeking to upgrade the quality of its education and actively participates in research to remain on the cutting edge. The college holds several collaborations with foreign universities and many more are also being planned with this objective. Plans are also afoot to establish pilot manufacturing and testing units to enable students to gain an even more hands-on education. The college through continuous up- gradation is endeavoring to become a ‘Continuous Education Center’, where new knowledge pertaining to the pharma field is generated on a regular basis.

Nitte Gulabi Shetty Memorial Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (NGSMIPS) was established in 1983 with a view to provide job-oriented professional courses in Pharmacy. The NGSMISPS is a constituent college of Nitte University. The college is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi and the UG Programme accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The Institution is ranked 18th position among Pharmacy colleges declared by National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. The Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA) strongly opposes the ideas which arise through some recent news indicates that there have been discussion regarding enabling the unqualified persons to be "pharmacists" by initiating some training courses. IPA firmly stated that medical stores/pharmacies should be run only in presence and under supervision of qualified, registered pharmacists.
