Otsuka Pharmaceutical India Private Limited (OPI) is a Joint Venture between Otsuka Pharmaceutical Factory, Inc., Japan and Mitsui & Co. Ltd., Japan, India, for Infusion Business in India and Emerging Markets.

Anna  University  was  established  on  4th September,  1978  as  a  unitary  type  of  University.   This University was  named after  Late Dr. C.N.Annadurai, former Chief Minister  of  Tamil  Nadu.    It  offers higher  education  in  Engineering,  Technology ,  Architecture  and  Applied  Sciences  relevant  to  the  current  and  projected  needs  of  the  society.  Besides  promoting research and disseminating knowledge gained therefrom, it fosters cooperation  between the academic and industrial communities .

The history of the IIT system dates back to 1946 when a committee was set up by Hon'ble Sir Jogendra Singh, Member of the Viceroy's Executive Council, Department of Education, Health and Agriculture to consider the setting up of Higher Technical Institutions for post war industrial development in India. The 22 member committee headed by Sri N.R.Sarkar, in its report, recommended the establishment of four Higher Technical Institutions in the Eastern, Western, Northern and Southern regions, possibly on the lines of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA, with a number of secondary institutions affiliated to it. The report also urged the speedy establishment of all the four institutions with the ones in the East and the West to be started immediately. The committee also felt that such institutes would not only produce undergraduates but they should be engaged in research, producing research workers and technical teachers as well. The standard of the graduates should be at par with those from first class institutions abroad.

Agharkar Research Institute (ARI) is an autonomous, grant-in-aid research institute of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Goverment of India. It was established in 1946 by the Maharashtra Association for the Cultivation of Science as MACS Research Institute and renamed as ARI in 1992 in honour and memory of its founder Director, late Professor S.P. Agharkar.

Biotech Consortium India Limited (BCIL) is a company created by the initiative of the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India and financed by All India Financial Institutions for facilitating commercialization of biotechnology. BCIL is managing the National Certification System for Tissue Culture Raised Plants (NCSTCP) in the country as the Management Cell since inception of NCS-TCP in year 2006.

Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) is an Autonomous Institution of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India. IPC is created to set standards of drugs in the country. Its basic function is to update regularly the standards of drugs commonly required for treatment of diseases prevailing in this region. It publishes official documents for improving Quality of Medicines by way of adding new and updating existing monographs in the form of Indian Pharmacopoeia (IP). It further promotes rational use of generic medicines by publishing National Formulary of India.
