Bharat institute of Technology-Pharmacy (BIT) was established in the year 1999 by the CHMR Educational Society with the noble aim of imparting quality Pharmacy education to students aspiring to become responsible pharmacists and to cater to the needs of pharmacy profession. The college is situated in a sprawling 120 acres of campus situated 24 kms from the heart of the city. The Institute of Technology and Management (ITM, GIDA, Gorakhpur) started functioning in July 2001 under the patronage of Shree Krishna Educational Society run by a group of socially oriented professionals and entrepreneurs. The Institute is located on the Gorakhpur-Lucknow National Highway 28 at a distance of about 12 kms from Gorakhpur city which is well connected by road and rail and limited airways with all major cities of India. Initially, B.Tech in four branches namely ECE, CSE, IT, & ME courses were started.
