IIT Indore is one among the new IITs. It started from the academic year 2009-10. IIT Indore is an autonomous engineering and technology institute of higher education. It will come up in 525 acre of land at Simrol, 25 km from Indore. Union Human Resources Development Minister Mr. Arjun Singh laid the foundation-stone of the Institute on 17 February 2009. IIT Bombay is currently mentoring IIT Indore.

The Industrial Research & Development (IRD) Unit was specifically set up in the Institute to provide specialized administrative and managerial support for the operation of Sponsored Research Projects, Consultancy Jobs and other related R&D activities. We are seeking for talented, motivated and passionate individuals to join in our efforts for leading-edge research on “* Combinational therapy against breast and colorectal cancer *”. The candidate will get highly interdisciplinary work environment to perform cutting age research. As this INNO INDIGO project is an internationally collaborative project (Belgium, Norway and India) postdoctoral fellow will closely work with collaborators from the European Countries and will have opportunity to visit to Belgium/Norway to accomplish the project work. Candidate need to spend time in the European partner laboratory up to 6 months.
