    Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, the sixth member of the IIT fraternity, was established in 1994. The academic programme of IIT Guwahati commenced in 1995. At present the Institute has eleven departments and five inter-disciplinary academic centres covering all the major engineering, science and humanities disciplines, offering BTech, BDes, MA, MDes, MTech, MSc and PhD programmes. Within a short period of time, IIT Guwahati has been able to build up world class infrastructure for carrying out advanced research and has been equipped with state-of-the-art scientific and engineering instruments.Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati's campus is on a sprawling 285 hectares plot of land on the north bank of the river Brahmaputra around 20 kms. from the heart of the city.     Indian Institute of Technology Patna, has been conceived to bolster high-quality technical education and research and cater to the Nation's need for well groomed technocrats and scientists. Formally registered as a society on 25th July 2008, IIT Patna's academic programs commenced on 6th August 2008. Patna is the capital of the state of Bihar. This region has been the centre of education since ancient times. Nalanda, the lighthouse of knowledge in ancient and medieval India, attracted scholars not only from other parts of India but also from China, Korea, Sri Lanka, Indonesia and West Asia. Some of the historical legends from this region include Lord Gautam Buddha, Lord Mahavir, Guru Govind Singh, the famous astronomer Aryabhata and the first President of India, Dr. Rajendra Prasad.

    I.I.T. Delhi is an autonomous statutory organisation functioning within the “Institutes of Technology Act” as amended by “The Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act, 1963″. The seven Indian Institutes of Technology (others being at Bombay, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Guwahati Roorkee) are administered centrally by the IIT Council, an apex body established by the Government of India to co-ordinate activities of these Institutes. The Minister for Human Resource Development of the Government of India is the Chairman of the Council. Each Institute of Technology has a Board of Governors responsible for its overall administration and control. Mr. Rameshwar Pal Agrawal is the Chairman of the Board of Governors of this Institute.

    Candidates of Indian nationality are invited to appear for the Walk-in test / interview for project appointments under the following project. Appointment shall be on contractual basis on consolidated pay renewable yearly or upto the duration of the project, whichever is earlier.

  • Opening for M.Pharm at Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur

    On Sept. 15, 1956, the Parliament of India passed an act known as the Indian Institute of Technology (Kharagpur) Act declaring this Institute as an Institute of national importance. The Institute was also given the status of an autonomous University. From this modest start in 1950, IIT Kharagpur has been engaged in a steady process of development with about 18 academic departments, five centres of excellence. the vast tree-laden campus, spreading over 2100 acres has a self contained township of over 15,000 inhabitants.
