    Defence Institute of Physiology and Allied Sciences (DIPAS) invites applications for Research Associate and Junior Research Fellows Defence Institute of Physiology and Allied Sciences (DIPAS) provides an excellent opportunity for young and motivated researchers to pursue a career in basic and applied Life Sciences research. DIPAS endeavors in optimizing human performance under extreme operational environments using physiological, biochemical, nutritional and ergonomic approach. The labs are equipped with state-of-art facilities to conduct human studies, animal and in-vitro experimentation with an interdisciplinary approach. Applications are invited from young and motivated candidates to work in ongoing and future research projects of DIPAS for the following posts:

  • IISER Ph.D Admission January 2018

    IISER Tirupati admits students to its doctoral programme in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Earth & Climate Sciences, and associated inter-disciplinary areas of research. The programme involves a combination of coursework, teaching assistantship along with a major research component.

    The Ph.D programme at IISER Tirupati was initiated in August 2017. We invite applications from prospective candidates for admission to the programme starting January 2018.

    The Institute for Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine (inStem), is a state-of-the-art research institute in Bangalore, India, dedicated to the study of stem cell and regenerative biology. An autonomous institute funded by the Dept of Biotechnology, Govt. of India, inStem emphasizes collaborative research in stem cell biology. inStem’s mandate to allow this cross-disciplinary, multi-pronged approach to research, straddles the divide between clinical and laboratory research in stem cell biology. In trying to answer intractable and challenging questions that face the field, inStem seeks to rewrite the paradigm of the research institute: without barriers and across disciplines.

    Invited for Cohort Monitoring and Management of the clinical component of the "Accelerator Program for Discovery in Brain Disorders using Stem Cells", situated at NIMHANS Bangalore ADBS is a multi-institutional, Department of Biotechnology (DBT) funded program based at inStem, NCBS and NIMHANS. The Centre for iPS cell Research and Application (CiRA), Kyoto, Japan is an international partner in the program.

  • CSIR-IICT invites online applications for Ph.D. Programme under AcSIR

    Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT), Hyderabad, a constituent of CSIR is a leading research Institute in the area of chemical sciences. It was established as Central Laboratories for Scientific and Industrial Research (CLSIR) in the year 1944 by the Nizam State and after independence it was brought under the CSIR as Regional Research Laboratory. It was rechristened as CSIR- IICT in the year 1989 as it acquired a national character. The Institute’s core strength lies in Organic Chemistry and it continues to excel in this field. The research efforts during these years have resulted in development of several innovative processes for a variety of products necessary for human welfare such as drugs, agrochemicals, food, specialty chemicals, organic intermediates and energy. More than 150 technologies developed by CSIR-IICT are now in commercial production.

  • Applications are invited for Junior Research Fellow at Indian Institute of Technology

    Indian Institute of Technology Indore located in Madhya Pradesh, known as IIT Indore or IITI, is an institute of national importance established by the Government of India in 2009. It is one of the eight new IITs, started by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (India), Government of India. The institution started functioning from 2009-10 in a temporary campus at Institute of Engineering and Technology of Devi Ahilyabai University under mentorship of IIT Bombay. Shri Arjun Singh, the then Union HRD minister, laid the foundation of the permanent campus, spread over an area of around 510-acre (2.1 km2), on 17th February 2009 at Simrol, a location on Khandwa Road about 25 km from the city of Indore.
