Located on the banks of River Sabarmati, Gujarat, Land of Mahatma Gandhi, Institute of Advanced Research is a University established under the "Gujarat Private Universities Amendment Act 2011" with an aim to create Excellence in Research and Education.  The University has been set up by "The Puri Foundation for Education in India" a Registered Charitable Trust.

Applications are invited for the position of Project Assistant on SERB sponsored project entitled “Deciphering the role of FADD in subset to the regulation of NLRP3 inflammasome and cell proliferation in context to anti-cancer drug resistance” under the supervision of Dr. Chandramani Pathak, Principal Investigator, Department of Cell Biology, Institute of Advanced Research, Koba Institutional Area, Koba, Gandhinagar-382 007.

The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur was established in the year 1960. The Parliament of India passed the ‘Institutes of Technology Act 1961’ declaring all the IITs as “Institutions of National Importance”. The Parliamentary Act has given absolute autonomy to the IITs. When the foundation stone of the IIT system was laid, it was perceived that taking help from the industrially advanced western countries might be lot more effective in achieving the status of a world class technical institute. Hence, IIT Kanpur had a massive collaboration with USA through a specially created programme- KIAP (Kanpur Indo American Programme)

The United States Pharmacopeia (USP) is a non–governmental, official public standards–setting authority for prescription and over–the–counter medicines and other healthcare products manufactured or sold in the United States. USP also sets widely recognized standards for food ingredients and dietary supplements. USP sets standards for the quality, purity, strength, and consistency of these products–critical to the public health.

The Centre has taken up research on scientific validation of Herbal and Traditional Medicine, through studies in phytochemistry, efficacy, safety, mode of action and clinical evaluation of herb, its ingredients and traditional formulations, as the thrust area. NITM (formerly known as RMRC) is also involved in studies on prevalence of various diseases at regional level, and lending active support to the State health authorities in investigation of outbreaks, laboratory confirmations, as well as providing infrastructural support and expertise in the relevant fields of interest. Furthermore, NITM (formerly known as RMRC) Belagavi is serving as a nodal Centre for execution of various Task Force projects and Schemes of the ICMR and DHR.

The Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) is an autonomous Grant-in-aid Institution of the Department of Atomic Energy. The TMC is comprised of the Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC) and the Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH). The TMC conducts Ph.D. program in Life Sciences and Health Sciences and is affiliated to the Homi Bhabha National Institute (Deemed University). On-going research at TMC includes basic, Epidemiological  and translational work in Cancer.
