Ministry of AYUSH proposes to depute an expert under a Collaboration Agreement with WHO, Hqs, Geneva for providing inputs for preparation of strategic agenda and workplan in promoting quality, safety and effectiveness of the traditional and complementary medicine and development of practice documents in Traditional Medicine including Ayurveda, Unani, Panchkarma and training document in Yoga.

Applications are invited in prescribed format from eligible Indian candidates for deputation to WHO, Hqs, Geneva on full time fixed term contract basis initially for a period of two years. The selected incumbent may be deputed immediately during the year 2017-2018.

The Indian Institute of Science was founded in 1909 as a result of the joint efforts of Jamsetji Nussarwanji Tata, the Government of India and the Maharaja of Mysore.  Tata conceived of a university of science in 1896 that would work for the benefit of India, and in 1898, created an endowment for establishing such an institution.  The Government of India decided to locate the Institute in Bengaluru, where the Maharaja of Mysore, Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV, donated over 370 acres of land for this initiative.

The National Institute of Health and Family Welfare (NIHFW) is an Autonomous / Apex Technical Institute funded by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare for promoting Health and Family Welfare Programmes in the country through Education & Training, Research & Evaluation, specialized services, consultancy and advisory service. This Institute has been awarded a project entitled “National Technical Group of Advisory on Immunization’’ by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. The following posts need to be filled up.

The Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) is an Autonomous Body, set up under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare primarily with the objective of periodically updating of the Indian Pharmacopoeia, the book of standards for the drugs; the National Formulary of India, the book of reference on the Drugs; and other related tasks such as preparing, certification and distribution of reference substance; assist the National Pharmacovigilance Programme, testing of new drugs and review of technical dossier of drugs for purpose of monograph development for Indian Pharmacopoeia.

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) is the premier national agency for the formulation, promotion and conduct of biomedical research in India. The mandate and policies of the ICMR coincide with national health policies.
