The remarkable march of India into the world of biosciences and technological advances began in 1986. This was because many of our macro-economic issues of growth were subsumed within that science’s development.

Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) is an autonomous body under the Department of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha & Homoeopathy (AYUSH), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.
