Osmania University established in 1918, is the seventh oldest in the Country, third oldest in South India and the First in the princely state of Hyderabad. CSIR - Institute of Microbial Technology, Chandigarh desires to engage Research Associate/Senior Project Fellows/Project Fellows on purely temporary basis on contract under CSIR Network projects/ DBT projects  at IMTECH. However, the number of positions may vary depending upon the requirement of the Institute. The Institute  also wishes to draw a Panel of Research Interns under “CSIR Diamond  Jubilee Research Interns Award Scheme”  to attract young and brilliant candidates to demonstrate their interest in Scientific Research as well as for qualifying and securing other research fellowships.  Panel  will be operative for a maximum period of one year from the date of interview.

Scheme VII-M, Kankurgachi, Kolkata- 700054 for one position of Junior Research Fellow in the DBT sponsored project entitled, “Biophysical and Structural Aspects of Oncogenic G-Quartets bound to Drugs: Screening, High Resolution NMR and Low Resolution Spectroscopy(RGYI)”, under the guidance of Dr.

The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) has been created as a centre of excellence for higher education, research and development in pharmaceutical sciences. NIPER, Rae Bareli at ITI campus, Rae Bareli under the mentoring Institute of Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow invites eligible candidates for following positions on purely temporary basis on contract initially for a period of 1 year which can be extended further.

The Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai is the new state-of-the-art R&D satellite of the Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), which also includes under its umbrella the Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH), the largest cancer hospital in Asia. ACTREC has the mandate to function as a national centre for treatment, research and education in cancer. TMC is an autonomous grant-in-aid institution of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India.

CSIR- Central Drug Research Institute (CSIR-CDRI), a premier drug research institute of India was inaugurated on 17th Feb 1951 by the then Prime Minister of India Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru with a vision to strengthen and advance the field of drug research and development in the country. The Institute has made significant accomplishments in the pursuit of its mission to New Drugs & Technologies for affordable healthcare for all, generation of knowledge base and nurturing future leaders for healthcare sector. Today, it has become a unique model for modernized drug research in India – having everything under one roof, from synthesis, screening, development studies, process up-scaling to clinical studies. Unique achievements of the Institute includes discovery and development of 12 new drugs, of which, Arteether (Brand Name: E-mal), BESEB (Brand Name: Memory Sure), Centchroman (Brand Name: Saheli) are currently in market; transferred more than 130 indigenous technologies to the pharmaceutical companies, a significant contribution in the metamorphosis of the Indian Pharma Industry. So far, more than 10,000 research articles have been published by the Institute in peer reviewed journals. Obtained more than 350 Indian patents and 90 international patents; and produced more than 1000 Ph.D's. Several of its Alumni have occupied highest positions in national and international academic institutions, biotech and pharma industries.
