Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Hyderabad (CSIR-IICT) is a Premier Research Laboratory under the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), which is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. CSIR-IICT is a multi-disciplinary Institute with proven strengths in Organic Chemistry (drugs, agrochemicals and industrial organics), Inorganic & Physical Chemistry including Catalysis, Lipid Science & Technology, Organic Coatings & Polymers, Chemical Biology, Chemical Engineering and Design Engineering.

CSIR-IICT is conducting Walk-in-lnterviews for the following positions on a purely temporary basis for engagement in various sponsored projects at CSIR-IICT, Hyderabad during 16 February 2016 as per the schedule below

1 Junior Research Fellow (Project) (02)
Essential Qualifications: First Class in M. Sc. in Physical/Inorganic/Organic Chemistry with NET Qualification
Desirable: Knowledge in synthesis and characterization of compounds
Project Name:

i) Mechanistic Details of Oxidant Transfer of the Oxidizing Substrate Molecules in Hydro peroxide Oxidation
ii) Utilization of y-radiation in the Synthesis of Heterogeneous Catalysts for the selective conversion of renewable sources into Useful Chemicals
Stipend:
25,000/- + HRA

2 Senior Project Fellow (01)
Essential Qualifications: First Class in M.Sc in Organic Chemistry with 2 years
Desirable: research experience and one publication in SCI Journal Research experience in synthetic
Project Name: organic chemistry with at least one research publication Organic Reactions in Generating Innovative, and Natural Scaffolds (ORIGIN)

Age:
Project Assistant-I: 25 years
Project Assistant-II / JRF (Project) / Project Fellow: 28 years
Senior Project Fellow / Project Assistant-III: 32 years
Research Associate:35 years

Experience is preferred for all the above positions.

* Upper age limit relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/PHAA/omen and 3 years for OBC

The Selection will be on the basis of Interview.

The engagement will be initially for a period of six months/one year, which may be extended or curtailed depending on the duration of the tenure of sponsored project/satisfactory performance or conduct of the appointee, as the case may be. The engagement will be purely on temporary basis for the sponsored project and does not entitle him/her for the CSIR/IICT post/fellowship.

Eligible candidates may download the application form from our website   www.iictindia.org and appear for Interview along with the duly filled in application form supported by Bio-data and one set of attested photo copies of Certificates of educational qualification, age, experience, caste (in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates), latest passport size photograph and the candidates are required to bring all the original certificates for verification.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Note: Candidates required to register their names for attending interviews between 9 A.M.- 10.00 A.M. on the date of interview. A Candidate desires to attend the interview on 16th He / She has to register only on 16th February 2016
